as it relates to boating safety, public education,

and local search and rescue operations.

operates in Long Island Sound in the vicinity of Norwalk, Connecticut,

under the operational direction of Coast Guard Station Eatons Neck, a unit of

U.S. Coast Guard Group/MSO Long Island Sound

headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut.
